The study of our ancestry has intrigued us for some long time - someone recently confided to us that the older she got the more fascinated she became about where she had come from, and I suppose it is the same for us as well.  Certainly, the more one searches, the more one realises just how much more there is still to find out, and that unless someone somewhere has already written down a family history, all one can do is just lob pebbles into a pond and watch the ripples spreading ever outwards.
